Welcome to the JCC Budapest

The JCC Budapest, Balint House, is the only JCC in Hungary. We welcome you to visit us and to see how Jewish life in Hungary continues with strength and spirit today.

E-mail us at info@jcc.hu so we can greet you and introduce you to the people who are rebuilding Jewish life! Become an international member and show your support – click here for more information or check out our Friends of JCC Budapest website here: www.friendsofjccbudapest.org

Founded in 1994 after the fall of the Iron Curtain, the JCC Budapest offers a true home for the Jewish community of Hungary, offering programs for all generations – from children and families to singles and adults, to seniors and Holocaust survivors. We are also the center of major Hungarian Jewish festivals, from Judafest to the Jewish and Israeli Film Festival.

Dynamism and constant reinvention is part of our strategy – and we pride ourselves on innovative discussion series, the best Hungarian cake in our café, chances to engage in service in and outside our immediate community, art exhibits, Jewish learning, social events, and a well-equipped modern fitness room and sauna.

We can help you to find important Jewish events and memories in Budapest. Have lunch or coffee and cake with us, check out one of our exhibits, join a dance class or meet some of the members of our dynamic community, bring your children to our fun playroom.
